Normally you'll rarely need to force updates, use this button only if you want to force the reports that change each day to be downloaded now.

Before you can use Amazon monitor you need to enable it and provide some data. Amazon monitor settings are located under the AMAZON ASSOCIATES tab in Tiny Monitor Settings.
Each Amazon monitor (for each Amazon affiliate program) is implemented as a plugin. This means that it displays data as individual monitor. Despite of this, most setting are common for all Amazon monitors. The only individual setting for each Amazon monitor is the account data and monitor status. You can show/hide account data by clicking the Account Settings button.
In order to get data for Amazon monitor you must provide username and password to log in to the Amazon Associates account. Warning: Make sure you are not using the new reporting interface. If you see the link Return to Classic Reporting then you are using the new Amazon Associates interface. In such case you need to click on the link Return to Classic Reporting since the new reporting interface does not support csv files needed for Tiny Monitor.
To enable Amazon monitor select On. The icon on the right contains a link to the RSS feed. This link already contains the RSS feed password defined in the Tiny Monitor settings. Example of Amazon RSS feed:
Account Setting are everything you need to start working with Amazon Monitor. All other settings will have default values and can be changed later.
When you start Tiny Monitor for the first time with Amazon plugin enabled, it has no data yet. While the data will be downloaded, reports updated and charts created the web page might stop responding for a while. Be patient and wait until everything is in place. The next time there will be less data to update so updates will be faster.
If you see only the plugin header after the plugin was just enabled simply double-click on the logo image to display the toolbar. Then you can select displays and options. Once you set desired display the settings will be automatically saved in the browser.
Here you define how often Tiny Monitor will download and update Amazon data. If you leave Update Time at default value of 480 minutes (recommended), the data will be updated every 8 hours. However, the actual data is updated once a day. So choosing more frequent update in Tiny Monitor will not provide new data until Amazon Associates website is updated.
You can disable logging out after update to speed up downloading. Use only cached files is useful for debugging and should normally be set to No.
Since there are many Amazon monitors here you can select which one will be the data source for the favicon. See Tiny Monitor Favicon settings.
Reports and Report Columns
For both table reports (Tracking IDs and Products) you can select which reports and which parameters will be show.
RSS Feed Reports and RSS Feed Columns
You can also select which reports and which parameters will be shown in the RSS feed.
Amazon monitor provides a nice feature to highlight rows according to the earnings. You can define up to 10 threshold values and colors. Once the earnings for some channel (tracking ID or product) are equal or above the threshold value the channel row will be colored with defined value. To select color simply click on the color field and select color from the palette.
